Since 2001, Ronald Bogaschewsky has held the Chair of Industrial Management at the University of Wurzburg in Germany.
From 1994 to 2001 he headed the Chair of Production Economics at the TU Dresden. He studied business administration at the University of Göttingen, where he also received his doctorate and habilitation. In 1989/90 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the IBM Scientific Center in Santa Monica, CA. His main fields of work are Supply Management, E-Procurement, Public Procurement and Value Chain Management. From 1996 to 2016, he was a member of the Federal Executive Committee of the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics.
Since 2005 he has headed the Scientific Advisory Board of the BME and since 2001 the Working Group ‘Purchasing and Logistics’ of the Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaft e.V. ErVi is a member of several renowned international scientific organizations and an expert for international top journals.
