Robyn Broughton is the Director of Economic Policy at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In this position she leads teams that work across the globe conducting economic analysis and providing technical assistance for financial management and domestic resource mobilization. She is the co-author of the Shared Interest: How USAID Enhances U.S. Economic Growth paper and is leading the development of USAID’s new Economic Growth Policy. Since joining USAID in 2004, Robyn has spent time in 15 USAID Missions around the world, including over six months in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Before working for the government, Robyn worked as an economist in the financial world of BNP Paribas and Merrill Lynch.
