Debra Lodge is the Managing Director and Head of HSBC’s International Corporate Solutions, Americas. In this role, Debra is responsible for creating tailored solutions to both the US and regional companies accessing Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. As a senior manager within Commercial Banking, she is the principal engineer of the bank’s renminbi (RMB) internationalization strategy for the region. Her expertise lies in analyzing Chinese regulations and providing liquidity and risk management advice to clients.
Lodge has been with HSBC for over 20 years and, before moving to the US in 2010, served the bank in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Latin America, during which she assumed a diverse set of management positions across Audit, Compliance, Operations, and the FX business. She speaks regularly on industry panels and to media.
Lodge guest lectures at the Fordham Gabelli Scholl of Business and serves on the board of the Queen’s Botanical Garden. She can be found on most weekends working with service dogs in training for the non-Profit ‘Puppies Behind Bars’ or at the ASPCA where she volunteers as a dog behaviouralist and socialiser. She lives in Manhattan with her adorable English Bulldog, Daisy.
