Since joining Los Angeles Tourism in 2006, Bill Karz has quadrupled website traffic to discoverlosangeles.com and set industry records for social media. Los Angeles was the first U.S. city tourism board to reach one million Facebook fans and Weibo followers in China. Recognized by such publications as Travel + Leisure and the Webby Awards for excellence in social media and web design, Bill has received a number accolades for his efforts at Los Angeles Tourism. Prior to joining the tourism board, Bill was a travel writer and contributing editor to a major U.S. newspaper.
