Aly brings diverse global marketing and strategy expertise through her roles expanding businesses into developed and emerging markets across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. She has led the international expansion, go-to-market, and marketing efforts for brands like PayPal and Intuit as well as tech start-ups in Silicon Valley. Most recently, at PayPal, she designed initiatives to grow the company’s presence in emerging markets undergoing rapid shifts toward digital payments.
In addition to her experience in the private sector, Aly also has a foreign policy and international affairs background. She has consulted for the State Department, World Bank, USAID, and the Organization of American States. She was also the Director of Business Development at LaborVoices, a social enterprise using mobile technology to advance supply chain transparency and ethical working conditions for international brands.
Aly holds a MA in International Affairs from the George Washington University and a BA in Communications and Spanish from UCLA. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. In her free time, you can find her traveling, practicing yoga, or learning Norwegian.
